A little bit about us…

Weaving has been technique of fabric production for many years. Our ancestors used various waving methods since Paleolithic era. Bible refers to loom and weaving in many places. One of the most popular methods was using floor looms by intertwining of two separate yarns or threads at right angles to form a fabric or cloth. Those two threads are called warp and the weft.

Iris Katoen aims to blend the traditional method and blend it with modern life demand. We try to bring this old craft in your everyday life. In the world that everything is going fast forward we believe some times is good to slow down and connect with the natural products and the gifts our beautiful earth gave us and we took it for granted
