Suzani / Sumak Kilim is one of the oldest Iranian rugs that have survived from olden times. Given that significant changes have not been made in the texture and designs of the kilim during the past centuries, the traditional and mythological motifs of the handicraft reflect the wishes and needs of the people who lived in the area in ancient times.
Care instruction
Vacuum, shake and rotate the rug regularly.
Dry spots; remove immediately by scraping carefully towards the middle of the spot.
Wet spots; do not rub. Absorb with paper towels, damp with cloth and mild detergent.
Use professional carpet cleaning when needed.
